Baubles

The word that only ever gets used at Christmas time “Bauble” in fact I had assumed it was specific to glass balls that hang on a Christmas tree, but apparently it has a more generic meaning.

Another fascinating fact for today, which I learnt from the National Geographic (oh to be a NG photo journalist … sigh), magnetic north (which a compass points to) is moving at a rate of 25 miles a year! By 2050 it would have moved all the way from Canada to Russia ! Well I never 🙂 And what does this have to do with Christmas baubles you ask? Nothing, just thought I’d share it with you 😉
