Handbag Pink

I thought this contrasted well with yesterdays Techno Blue 😉 I am trying hard to maintain some colour in my photoblog (and not post too many night shots) 😉 This one was shot on Sunday using the available light next to a window, using a Canon 100mm Macro lens.

With Macro, Live View really comes into its own giving you the ability to pin point your focus points. I have to admit that before Live View getting the perfect tiny point of your my macro shots in focus was hit and miss process. The trick (if you can call it that) is to frame your picture and focus and then move the zoom square to the point you want in perfect focus, zoom to +10 and re-adjust the focus (manually of course).

I would recommend the New 50D over the 40D if you can afford to spend so much, it adds 3x the resolution to the viewing screen, to 920,000 pixels (I think) makes a huge difference especially for macro and pin point focusing. Christmas list? 🙂
