Morning Glory

Sunrises can be a trial and error thing but after a while you get a feeling for when a sunrise will be good and what time you need to be in a certain position to capture the nicest and most colourful light. However this sunrise took me totally by surprise and I almost missed this wonderful shot. Less than 20 minutes after this wonderful view the sky was grey, colourless, no sun, no nice light, nothing. Unusual for a great sunrise morning… so it really was a case of having to be at the right place at the right time which is the case of many aspects of photography.

I shot this as a panorama so I have posted that version as well even though on IG it doesn’t view very well.
