Before I continue to post some of the images captured in Sweden let me explain a little bit about why we were there with three images...
The Crew
The first picture below shows the "crew", from left to right, Josh (Posthuman/Seed Records)(who set the whole thing up), Kelly, Steve R (B12), Tom P (Bleep), me, Simon (KansasCityProphet), Lucie, Calham (Digitonal), Morgane, Katherine, Andy (Digitonal), Bruce (Seed Records) and Steve (Milanese).
The Venue
This is the most bizarre venue ever. A disused Iron mine which still contains rusty machinery, gantries and cranes. More images to come.
The Poster
The sad thing... Josh who organised everything got left off of the poster :-( P.S. The Vaffla was nice but I didn?t care much for the Kack or Guf but the Plopp made up for it and thankfully I didn?t see any Skum :-).
...
What is this all about???
Why were we in Norberg, Sweden? To play music, electronic music. Music that I love, music that
Strange but true.
I could try to go into why that is but I won?t bore you all to tears :-) I guess it?s because it?s a creative and personal thing.
So... Myself and Steve "bring out the gimp" Rutter founded B12 Records in 1990 to fulfil our desire to make music from the heart, music that could not be understood and music we didn?t even care if "joe public" could understand. Music we loved, music for "just for us", thankfully it grew slightly bigger than that. Today I still make music for the same reasons and I feel the same way about capturing an image. A moment, an emotion, a vision, something not everybody will understand, and few do, but nevertheless I continue to capture that moment and broadcast it in the hope that someone will understand and appreciate it for the reasons I do. Music is no different. I only wish I really had the bollocks to pursue either.
