I?m posting this image slightly early today because it represents something of a milestone. This is the 500th picture I have posted to this site. The 500th image on a year and a half journey into forcing myself to capture the world around me, a world often missed, a world we are oblivious to most of the time.
Take this scene for example. Me and my old buddy Steve sat and watched this scene emerge as the sun rose over Lake Norberg in Sweden, I stared a dialogue about how long it might take the rising sun to illuminate the whole of the far hill as orange glow slowly moved downwards towards the water. Would I have noticed such things previously? Probably not, I probably would have taken the world for granted, as usual.
Well, I feel happy to have captured some great images and memories and very happy to have shared them here, something to look back at and a vehicle to keep me going. Thanks for visiting, thanks for commenting (critically as well as lovingly), thanks for adding me to your favourite photo sites at Photoblogs.org (currently ranked at 41 among more than 10,000), Thanks. Here?s to the next 500.
