An update on yesterday's picture. It was indeed Waterloo Station, I'm impressed so many of you realised where it was.
This image is probably instantly recognisable, especially to those who live in London. The problem with taking pictures of famous landmarks is that everyone has already done it and it is hard to find a new and interesting way to depict it. The question I ask myself is how to photograph it without having it look like a snap from a holiday album. Here I have tried something different, the incredible contrast was entirely intentional,maybe this makes it slightly more unrecognisable than it might otherwise be, but for me that's a good thing especially if it makes you look twice and then realise you do actually know exactly where it is.
